About Lid Lockr
The Story of Lid Lockr
Lid Lockr was born out of baseball. In 2022, inside the clubhouse tunnels of San Manuel Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Angels’ Single-A affiliate Inland Empire 66ers, two very different worlds collided.
Bobby Barrett, a longtime professional clubhouse manager, had spent years watching players struggle to keep their hats in game-ready condition through endless bus rides, road trips, and cramped lockers. To players, hats weren’t just accessories—they were part of their identity. A crushed brim or bent crown wasn’t just frustrating; it could throw off confidence before stepping onto the field.
On the other side, Nolan Meadnis, a sports marketing agent, was working with the team in the front office on branding and partnerships. He kept hearing the same complaint from players and fans alike: there just wasn’t a reliable way to protect and travel with hats. Other companies had tried to solve the problem, but the products often fell short—too boxy, too bulky, and cheaply made, even from the big brand names.
Over countless late nights at the ballpark, Bobby and Nolan started talking about how it should be done. Not by reinventing the wheel, but by taking what was out there and making it better—stronger, sleeker, and built to last.
By 2025, they decided to make it official. Lid Lockr launched with a simple mission: to create the premium standard in hat protection. Every detail of the Lid Lockr hat carrier was designed with athletes and collectors in mind—lightweight for travel, rugged enough to handle the grind, and built with top-quality materials so that no one would ever have to settle for less ever again.
What started in a minor league stadium is now a brand with big-league ambition: to give hats the respect they deserve and the protection they need.
